In 2006, Seaport of Saint Petersburg invested RUR 333.4 million into the group’s development, the company’s press center reports. The figure includes RUR 90.6 million invested into purchase of a control stake of Rosmyasomoltorg, 73.7 million – into reconstruction of warehouse facilities, 525 thou – for container terminal project, 929 thou for parking, 67 million – for equipment.
The Group of Companies of the Seaport of Saint Petersburg includes First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Forth Stevedoring Company CJSC and a number of service companies. In 2006 the Group handled 11.8 million tons of cargo (22% of total cargo turnover of the Big Port of Saint Petersburg).
