Throughput of Russian seaports in 6M’18 grew by 2.7% to 394 million tonnes
In January-June 2018, Russian seaports handled 394 million tonnes of cargo (+2.7%, year-on-year) including 188.52 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+8.4%) and 206 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-2%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 38.32 million tonnes (+ 7.2%) including 14.13 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+3.8%) and 24.19 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 9.2 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 122.6 million tonnes (-1.6%) including 54.07 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+8.4%) and 68.53 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-8.3%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 133.02 million tonnes (+5.6%) including 57.81 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+13.5%) and 75.21 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (-+0.2%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.42 million tonnes (+39.1%) including 1.36 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+10.4%) and 1.05 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+100%).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 98.16 million tonnes (+2.3%) including 61.15 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+ 5.0%) and 37.01 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-1.7%).
