In January-September 2018, port Hong Kong (China) handled 14.69 million TEUs (-5.6%, year-on-year).
According to the port authority, the port’s largest terminal Kwai Tsing handled to 12.53 million TEUs (-5.6%), other terminals handled 3.16 million TEUs (-5.3%).
Port Hong Kong is one of the world’s largest ports. It is capable of handling 456,000 vessels per year. In 2017, the port’s container throughput hit 20.75 million TEUs.
