GTT receives order from SHI to design tanks for new NYK's LNGC

GTT has received an order notification from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) for the tanks design of a Liquefied Natural Gas Carrier (LNGC) on behalf of the Japanese ship-owner Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), GTT said.

GTT’s Mark III Flex membrane containment system has been selected to equip the LNGC, offering a capacity of 174,000 m3. The vessel’s delivery is scheduled for Q1 2021.
