Coast Guard reopens ports on Guam and Rota

The U.S. Coast Guard reports that the Coast Guard Captain of the Port reopened all of the ports in Guam and Rota at 12:30 p.m., Friday, after post-storm assessments.

The Ports in Saipan and Tinian remain closed in Port Heavy Weather Condition Zulu.

Port Heavy Weather Condition Zulu restricts all inbound and outbound vessel traffic. Once the ports are fully assessed and deemed safe, they will be reopened to normal operations.

The Coast Guard will continue to Broadcast Notice to Mariners and send out a Marine Safety Information Bulletin to notify the maritime community of port condition changes.
