Hapag-Lloyd implements Peak Season Surcharge from Italy to East Coast South America

Hapag-Lloyd will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all container types, except Reefer containers, on the trade from Italy to South America East Coast, the company said in its release.

Effective for sailings as of February 15, 2019 and valid until further notice, the PSS for Italian origins to South America East Coast ports will be as follows:

 EUR 80 per 20‘ Container
 EUR 160 per 40‘ Container

First sailing where foregoing applies, will be M/V “MSC Agadir” Voyage MM907A.
