Alexey A. Lazarev has been appointed Head of the RS Branch Office in Italy, the Register says in a press release.
Alexey A. Lazarev graduated from Odessa National Maritime University (Ukraine) majoring in Shipbuilding and Ocean Engineering; then attained higher education in Radio Engineering, Navigation and Ship Power Engineering, Electromechanics. He began his career as a hull ship foreman at a shipyard. Alexey A. Lazarev began working at the Register in 2002 when was employed by the RS Branch Office in Ukraine. Prior to his appointment, he worked as a surveyor at the RS Branch Office in United Arab Emirates for 7 years.
The RS Branch Office in Italy provides services in technical supervision of ships in service and under repair, survey of materials and products for ships.
