Russia's Main Department of State Expertise approves construction of oil tank farm at port of Temryuk
Rostov branch of Glavgosexpertiza (Russia's Main Department of State Expertise) has considered the design documentation and engineering survey findings under the project on construction of an oil tank farm at the port of Temryuk which is to be built within the limits of the terminal for transshipment of oil products. Glavgosexpertiza says it has issue a positive opinion.
The oil tank farm is intended for acceptance, storage and shipment of dark and light oil products. It will number 11 tank car loading/unloading racks and 13 steel tanks for oil products (75 cbm each) including 8 tanks for dark oil products and 5 – for light oil products. Total capacity of the tank farm will be 975 cbm.
A plot of land (32.75 hectares) provided for construction has no buildings or engineering networks.
Apart from a tank farm and loading/unloading facilities the complex will include a pumping station, a boiler house with a fuel storage facility, vapor recovery unit, scale platform and a vehicle examination rack as well as other technological and auxiliary facilities.
The new facility can be approached by an existing road linking the port of Temryuk with a general-purpose highway.
The works on construction, reconstruction and overhaul of the terminal facilities for transshipment of oil products at the port of Temryuk are finances by investor, Rosmortrans-Temryuk LLC.
