Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg held traditional water tour for its employees’ kids

Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC (SP SPb) says it held a traditional water tour for its employees’ children on the last Friday of September.               
With more than 100 passengers on board, the leisure boat headed for the port area from where the kids could have a panoramic view on the picturesque Seaway Canal in close proximity to berths allowing for watching the docking of ships and the operation of port equipment.       

An exciting programme just deepened the impression. Accompanied by fairy tale characters, young passengers were singing, dancing, participating in cheerful competitions and solving riddles. “Once again, a two-hour adventure provided our cohesive team of grownups and their kids with much of fresh experience, bright emotions and unique photos. – said Dmitry Vorobyov, PR Department Director at Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC. – Such activities for children additionally contribute to employees’ comprehension of themselves as both colleagues and good friends to have a lovely time at a party with kids”.

Responsibility for the younger generation is among the priorities of SP SPb’s social policy. The company provides support to sport shooting club “Olimpiyets” offering free of charge training of Olympic shooting, equestrian school for kids “Sea Horse” on the Kanonersky Island, an orphan home of Olonets for which port employees buy gifts and organize festivals.

Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg JSC is the largest operator rendering services on handling of all types of dry cargoes at Big Port St. Petersburg. It operates modern multipurpose specialized terminals for handling of general and bulk cargoes and specialized terminals for ro-ro cargoes and containers. In 2018, the company handled 7.7 million tonnes of cargo.
