RF Ministry of Transport to expand area banned for navigation near Crimea bridge

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation has drafted an Order on establishment of areas banned for navigation near the Crimea bridge and in the water area of the Kerch Strait. The document has been published at the portal for draft regulations.

According to the explanatory note, the document was drafted under the supervision Yury Tsvetkov, Deputy Minister of Transport – head of Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency) with involvement of RF Foreign Affairs Ministry, Federal National Guard Troops Service, Defence Ministry and Federal Security Service.

The explanatory note also says that the document will let ensure safe functioning of the Kerch bridge in the water area of the Kerch Strait.

Public discussion of the document as well as independent anti-corruption analysis is underway.
