Throughput of Russian seaports in 10M’19 grew by 3.2% to 701.48 million tonnes

In January-October 2019, Russian seaports handled 701.48 million tonnes, up 3.2% year-on-year, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).

In the reporting period, transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 313.88 million tonnes (-3.5%), liquid bulk cargo -  387.6 million tonnes (+9.3%).
 
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 87.41 million tonnes (15.6%, year-on-year) including 26.31 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+3.9%) and 61.09 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+21.5 %).
 
Seaports of the Baltic basin handled 215.84 million tonnes (+5.9%) including 92.53 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+2.3%) and 123.31 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+8.8%).
 
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin basin handled 241.41 million tonnes (-6.5%) including 79.88 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (-21.6%) and 134.52 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+5.6%).
 
Seaports of the Caspian basin handled 6.11 million tonnes (+54.3%) including 2.31 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+5.3%) and 3.80 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+115.0%).
 
Seaports of the Far East basin handled 177.72 million tonnes (+6.2%) including 112.85 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.1%) and 64.87 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+4.8%).
