Transshipment of general cargo amounted over the reported period to 641.23 thou tons, fertilizers – 143.69 thou tons.
The port of Caucasus is situated at the border of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov at Kerch strait from the side of Russia. The port of Caucasus is ice-free, so it has the ability to operate both with river vessels (depth up to 4.5 meters), and with sea vessels (at the road). The territory is crossed by the port’s own railroad line. It is 2600 meters long. The port’s berths first of all transship dry bulk cargo, as well as general cargo and timber.
