Gazprom has made its first deliveries of LNG to the Republic of Korea
Gazprom OJSC has made its first deliveries of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the Republic of Korea, the Company says according to AK&M.
The transaction was realized via Gazprom Marketing and Trading Ltd. (GMT) that belongs to Gazprom Group. The LNG was acquired from Mitsubishi Corporation who bought the gas from Celt (a joint venture of Mitsubishi Corporation and Tokyo Electric Power, Inc.).
The LNG was delivered to regasification terminal Pyeongtaek of Kogas, the national Korean gas company, in the volume of 145,000 cubic meters (some 92 mln cubic meters of natural gas) on 'ex-ship' terms.
