OOIL said in its quarterly operational update report that overall load factor was comparable with that recorded last year, with an increase of 12.2 per cent in loadable capacity as scheduled newbuildings were delivered and deployed. For the first nine months of 2006 total volumes increased by 9.0 per cent to 2.86 million TEU compared to 2.62 million TEU in the same period in 2005. Total revenue in the first three quarters amounted to $3.15 billion, a rise of 4.7 per cent year on year.
