Refrigerated container ground to be finalized in the port of Odessa
Specialists have started to equip the ground for storage of refrigerator containers in the Odessa Seaport (Ukraine), IA Reporter informs. The complex is built at the territory of the former “Austrian” beach. The customer and the investor is a stevedoring company GPK-Ukraine. The specialists are to install 400 points connecting refrigerator containers to power network. The points are equipped with specialized international standard connectors. Electric power is to be supplied from newly built 2х1600 kWt substation. According to the company’s information, the substation is equipped with so called “dry” transformers instead of conventional oil ones. Dry transformers have longer serviceable life demanding no maintenance.
