Sovcomflot to move to Saint Petersburg office in 2007 - Borisenko
Sovcomflot will move to Saint Petersburg office in summer 2007, Igor Borisenko, first deputy to Director General of Sovcomflot OJSC has told the reporters today according to the PortNews reporter. Borisenko says Saint Petersburg Administration has picked out building No3 at Moika embankment for the company already. Today the company continues reconstruction of the building. As soon as the building is ready the company will move there. It is planned to move in 2007.
Sovcomflot OJSC is the largest Russian shipping company with unique experience in operating ice class vessels under ice conditions, including that of the Baltic and White Seas. In late 2005 the company took ice class Aframax vessels – the Yury Senkevich and the Victor Konetsky tankers for oil transportation under Sakhalin-1 project. The company plans to increase transportation from Russian ice regions to 30% of the company’s total transport services.
