In January 2008, Yuzhny Commercial Seaport increased its throughput to 1.72 million tonnes of different cargo (+0.3%, year-on-year), the port’s press center reports. Cargo handling totaled 1.146.1 million tonnes against planned 1.11 million tonnes (103.3% against plan and 100.6% against ht esame priod of the previous year) In the reported period, the company handled 113 vessels and 12,466 open-top wagons.
