Jack Yen has been named vice chairman of Evergreen Marine Corp. (Taiwan) Ltd., and will be succeeded as president by Capt. C.J. Wang.
Wang had been chief executive vice president, a post that will be filled by Anchor Chang, executive vice president of the carrier's international business division.
Yen joined Evergreen in 1978 and has worked in Germany, the U.K., the United States and Hong Kong. His positions have included president of Evergreen Star Hong Kong Ltd., where he had responsibilities for the mainland China market, and president of Evergreen Deutschland GMBH. He was promoted to president of Evergreen Marine Corporation (Taiwan) in 2007.
