Freight turnover via Nakhodka Customs up 25%, at 2.5 m tons in January-February

In January-February this year volumes of goods passed through Nakhodka Customs (Primorskiy Territory) and cleared at the post amounted to some 2.513.000 tons, valued at $1.550.000 from some 2 million tons worth of $876m in 2009, or a year-over-year 25.6%, 1.7 times growth in volumes and value, respectively. The Customs cleared 1.040 vessels and issued 3867 cargo declarations, the Far East Customs Directorate statement said.
