Kozmino port targets 1.245m tons of export oil this March

Specialized oil seaport Kozmino of Primorsky Territory expects it will have this March an increase in the volume of oil shipments through the terminal, at least 245.000 tons more than it handled in February, 2010,  the company press service said.

In February this year, Kozmino exported 1 million tons of crude oil. In two recent months the Port of Kozmino has transshipped over 2 million tons of crude oil. Tankers were transporting export oil to the ports of the Asia-Pacific region. On March 5-6, the first time since the "Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean" pipeline system was launched, Kozmino will have the largest 145-ton shipment of  export oil, the company statement said.

Specialized Oil Seaport Kozmino JSC based in the Bay of Kozmino in Primorsky Krai (Territory) at the end point of the ESPO pipeline system, operates an oil terminal that was put into operation on Dec. 28, 2009.
