Yaroslavsky Shipyard to deliver three ships for RosMorRechFlot this fall

Yaroslavsky Shipbuilding Plant will complete and deliver a SDS08 flagship, diving support vessel, named “Yaroslavl Capital City”, to the customer, the Federal Agency for Maritime and River Transport of the Russian Federation (RosMorRechFlot) this fall, Transport Ministry said.

The next two diving support vessels (“Rostov the Great”, “Uglitch”) ordered by RosMorRechFlot for GosMorSpasSluzhba (Russian Marine Emergency Rescue Service) will be handed over next year.

Multi-function rescue vessel was designed for diving and underwater engineering works to operate at a depth of 100 meters in 3-pts rough seas. The SDS08 vessel is to participate in rescue operations, ship salvage. The Ice2 ship is 38.35m in length, length between perpendiculars - 36.35 m, overall width - some 7.92 m, DWL width – 7.70 m, DWL draft – 2.1 m, full speed - 11 knots, two main engines power rated 442 kW; capable of sailing independently for 5 days.
