Unifeeder has announced 12-24-hour delays (compared to the Company’s master schedule) on all of its services to and from Port of Rotterdam, the Company press release said. The backlog was primarily due, the statement said, to unforeseen and unusually slow operation and congestion at the terminals in the port of Rotterdam this week.
The Company says it has been working hard to find what had caused the congestion at the terminals and trying to lessen the negative impact it has had on the schedule.
Unifeeder is currently in talks with the management of the terminals to resolve the situation.
Unifeeder, one of the largest feeder services in Europe, has been in this business for over 30 years. The Company’s fleet comprises 26 ships of a capacity of 500-1500 TEUs.
