BW Offshore bags $875m gas FPSO contract

BW Offshore has bagged an $875m gas floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) contract in Indonesia. BW Offshore and its partners, PT Pelayaran Trans Parau Sorat and PT Energi Consulting Indonesia, signed the contract with Kangean Energy Indonesia. The contract is for a 10 year charter with options of up to four years and is worth $875m in total. The company’s scope includes the delivery of the gas FPSO, risers, umbilicals and mooring system, and BW Offshore will also be responsible for the installation and operation of the unit.
