Transpetrol starts new rail Rotterdam-Hungary service

Transpetrol has started a new rail connection between Rotterdam and Hungary.The service runs twice weekly between Rotterdam and Györ and was developed in partnership with Nijhof-Wassink, a logistics service provider specializing in bulk logistics with a strong position in Central and Eastern Europe.
In the region around Gyor is a growing interest in rail transport of products for the automotive, food, agricultural chemicals and bulk. The, A /C,  service runs between the trimodal Pernis Combi Terminal in Rotterdam, where Nijhof-Wassink shareholder, and the Logistics Center Hungaria in Györ. Transpetrol operates the train and its partners LTE (Logistik und Transport) and CER (Central European Railways) provide the traction.
