Federal Court Bailiffs Service (FCBS) in Astrakhan Region put a lien on 11 objects of real estate, including five manufacturing facilities and 6 apartments in the new-built quarter of JSC Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPA), the regional FCBS’ press service said.
According to Astrakhan FCBS, the shipbuilder appeared to be the largest debtor to the Pension Fund (insurance contributions for pension and health insurance of their employees) whose debt has reached over 17 million rubles. The total value of seized property exceeds 25 million rubles. FCBS also placed a lien on the debtor’s accounts.
"If the association fails to pay the debt voluntarily, the debtor’s property and funds will be used to repay the debt owed to the federal pension fund and other claimants, including the workers of ASPA", FCBS statement said.
As the CNRG Group’s press service said with PortNews, the amount of debt to the Pension Fund is equal to the sum of the next current payment. In accordance with the company’s financial plan, repayment of the debt is planned in the next two weeks.
Astrakhan Shipbuilding Production Association (ASPA), part of CNRG Group (Caspian Energy), was founded in 2007 by the Astrakhan region’s largest shipbuilding enterprises: JSC Astrakhan Shipwright, OJSC Shipyard Lotus, OJSC Shipyard of III International. ASPA specializes in construction of facilities for offshore development in the interests of Russian and international oil companies, and building merchant ships.
