Container throughput of the port of Hong Kong (China) in January-November 2010 rose by 12.7% over the same period last year to 21,57 million TEUs, the Port Authority statistics said. In the 11-month period container shipments at the largest container terminal Kwai Tsing grew by 13.2% to 15,64 million TEUs.
In November, the volume of containers handled at the port of Hong Kong rose 10.5% compared with November 2009 to 2m TEUs.
