Rosterminalugol exports 7mlnth ton of coal this year

Year-to-date, Rosterminalugol (an operator at the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad region, part of Kuzbassrazrezugol Holding) has handled 7 million tons of exported coal. The 7-millionth ton was loaded on Dec.10th to the TIAN DU FENG, the stevedore company’s press service said.

JSC Rosterminalugol was established in 1996 to build and operate the coal terminal at the commercial seaport of Ust-Luga. The terminal’s projected capacity is 8 million tons of coal a year. Rosterminalugol specializes in loading and unloading operations, freight forwarding services, building and maintenance of facilities at the specialized coal transshipment terminal at the port of Ust-Luga. The company also provides insurance services for goods and property, the risks of transactions at the commercial port. The terminal has two berths with a total length of 540 meters and depth at the berths of 14 meters and can accommodate vessels with beam up to 32,2 m and length up to 240 m. In 2009, coal exports via the terminal totaled 7, 083,538 tons. The company unloaded 99,242 rail cars and handled 200 ships.
