Container throughput of Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT) for the 11-month period of the year surged by 41% over the same period of 2009 to 264,417 TEUs, the stevedoring company press service said.
In November, container volume handled by the stevedore amounted to 25,056 TEUs, a 7-percent drop month-over-month, and up 11.4% from the last year’s figure.
In Jan-Nov, exports handled by VCT reached 8,181 TEUs, imports totaled 8,771 TEUs, short sea trade – 8,104 TEUs.
