The Port’s Yug-2 has seen 2,741 Subaru cars since Oct. 10 when the Terminal started handling the cargo. The port plans to handle by the end of this year more than 3,000 cars of Subaru car maker.
Overall, the multipurpose Yug-2 Terminal is expected to transship up to 1,000 Subaru cars a month.
The multipurpose Yug-2 terminal was designed for handling Ro-Ro cargos, new imported cars, containers and general cargo. To date, the terminal handles automobiles of well-known car makers: Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and Subaru.
