German shipyards win nine orders worth about 2 billion euros since September

German shipping orders have jumped since September, Hamburger Abendblatt reported, citing shipping lobby group VSM. German shipyards have won nine orders worth about 2 billion euros ($2.6 billion) since September, swelling year-to-date orders to 2.4 billion euros, the newspaper said, citing Werner Lundt, managing director of VSM, in an interview to be published in tomorrow’s edition.
