Russia's Defense Ministry and the Ministry of Transport should hold joint drills of search and rescue at sea, said Vic-Premier Sergei Ivanov at a meeting of Russ. Govt’s Marine Board, the PortNews correspondent reported.
Vyacheslav Ruksha, CEO of Atomflot (Rosatom Corp.) and Mr. Ivanov noted that the drills of rescue ships with aircrafts support could be conducted in the eastern part of the Northern Sea Route.
