Prosecutor's office plans inspections of shipping companies in 2011

North-West Transport Prosecutor's Office posted its plan for 2011 of scheduled audits of Russian companies engaged in shipping business in 2011, the NWTPO’s press service said.

The law enforcement agency will conduct audits of St. Petersburg-based stevedoring companies: Sea Port of St. Petersburg, SUE Lenvodkhoz, Baltic Shipping Company Ltd., JSC Petersburg Oil Terminal, Marine Fishing Port LLC, Baltic Fleet LLC.

In the Leningrad region, the agency’s officers will be inspecting Vyborg-Vysotsky branch of Rosmorport, Shlisselburg-based Nevsky Shipyard, Vysotsk Lukoil II JSC, Rosneft-Bunker LLC and Ust-Luga-based Rosterminalugol.

In the Arkhangelsk region - Atomflot, FSI Northern Basin Fisheries Department , JSC Arkhangelsk Sea Commercial Port (shipping company Portoflot), JSC Northern Shipping Company, Severneftegazflot LLC, JSC Arkhangelsk River Port and other companies.

In the Kaliningrad region - Kaliningrad branch of Rosmorport, FSUE Kaliningrad Sea Fishing Port, Kaliningrad Maritime Shipping LLC, Gazflot, Baltic Stevedoring Company, JSC Baltic Oil Company, JSC Baltic Shipyard Yantar.

Besides, the regional Prosecutor’s Office will be inspecting inland waterways and navigation facilities of FSI Volga-Baltic SBD IWN, as well as Gazprom Transgas Ukhta in Komi Republic, JSC Murmansk Shipping Co, JSC Murmansk Trawl Fleet Ltd, Cherepovets Passenger Terminal, OJSC Vologda river port and many other businesses.
