The port, the largest in the US, saw volumes reach 666,970 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) last month.
This figure represents a 15% rise on figures recorded over the same month last year.
However, this statistics is 2% lower than the 682,384 TEUs recorded in October, and nearly 13% down on the year-high figure recorded in August of 763,837 TEUs.
November's 170,319 TEU containers for export was a 14.2% rise over recordings for the same month last year, and represent the highest rise in this category for 2010.
Total volumes for the 2010 calendar year have topped the 7.2 million TEU mark- a rise of 17% over 2009.
The highest recorded statistics are from 2006 when volumes reached 8.5 million TEUs.
