SOCAR terminal expands service of AFRAMAX tankers

Black Sea terminal in Georgia-based Kulevi port of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) expands capacity on service of AFRAMAX tankers, ABC News reports.
BST reports that new multi-purpose tugboat “BARS” arrived at the port of Kulevi this week. It will be involved in AFRAMAX tanker towing operations. The tugboat is built in 2010 and is equipped with powerful engines (4080 hp) and modern navigation and fire-fighting systems.
Kulevi Port is one of the most modern and well-equipped ports providing the safest berthing and loading operations. Since start of exploitation (May, 2008) Kulevi Oil Terminal has loaded 347 vessels.
