The first 2 sections the bridge for Easter Bosphorus have been shipped from Nakhodka to Russky Island, the Nakhodka Administration’s press service said. The 720-ton cargo was delivered by the barge “Katya". The bridge sections were assembled at Nakhodka Shipyard.
Nakhodka Shipyard has been engaged since 2010 in the assembly of units (52 of the 103) for the two cable-stayed bridges constructed for the APEC Summit 2012. The bridges will connect the Golden Horn Bay and Eastern Bosphorus strait. Two barges – Kaya and Stepan were built for transportation of the blocks from Nakhodka to Vladivostok.
