EU trade with all its major partners in January-February 2011 increased compared to the same period of last year, the Eurostat press release said.
The volume of the EU exports to Russia grew 46%, to Turkey - by 47%, to China - by 33%, to South Korea - by 31%. Imports from Russia to the EU countries increased by 33%, from Brazil - by 41%, Norway - 30%, Turkey - 28%.
Concerning the total trade of Member States, the largest surplus was recorded in Germany (+21.9 bn euro in January-February 2011), the Netherlands (+7.5 bn) and Ireland (+6.0 bn).
