Auction for sale of MSC’s shares is cancelled

The auction for sale of the federal stake in Murmansk Shipping Company (MMP) is cancelled as there were no bids submitted, the Federal Agency for Management of State Property (Rosimushchestvo) reported today.

The Federal Government owns 240,581 common stock of MSC, which is 25.5% of authorized share capital of the shipping company. SOB of the stake was RUB 958 million.
 
Murmansk Shipping Company specializes in shipping of general cargo and passengers. The holding’s fleet comprises 300 ships of total deadweight of about 2 million tons.  The authorized capital of JSC MSC is 943,454 rubles and is divided into 943,454 common stock (RUB 1 a share). The main shareholders are Arctic Technology LLC (62.7%) and the Russian Government.
