CSCSC Huangpu delivers four surveillance ships ahead of schedule

CSCSC Huangpu Shipbuilding completed the fourth 1,000-ton Type II surveillance ship, nine months ahead of schedule, Bairdmaritime reports.

Ship specification: length overall - 77.7 m, breadth - 10.2 m, DWT 1,350 ton, maximum speed - 20 knots, cruising range - 5,000 nm.

The vessel is equipped with advanced satellite communications and navigation equipment. With two engines and an adjustable variable pitch propeller, the ship reportedly runs at high speeds with good mobility.
