Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) has signed a new 12-year coal transport deal with Korea Midland Power, Seatrade Asia online reports.The bulker owner will deliver 1m tonnes of cargo every year from Australia, Indonesia and Canada.
The contract starts in the fourth quarter of 2011 and runs to the end of 2023. It is worth KRW 130bn ($119m).
