In addition to acquiring the tanks, the company said it has set up a 8,000-tonne bunker barge to deliver fuels and services.

In November, Shell Marine Products told Reuters it was looking to launch bunker operations in Jebel Ali and expand its marina fuel business in the Middle East over the next three to five years.
