Annual general meeting of shareholders of Ust-Luga Company will be held on June 23, 2011, the company press service said.
The meeting will focus, in addition to routine issues, on approving a major transaction and the company's participation in the All-Russian Association of Employers "The Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs."
JSC "Ust-Luga is the coordinator of the construction of commercial seaport of Ust-Luga. The port project is being implemented in line with the Federal Program "Development of the Russian Transport System" on the basis of public-private partnership. In 2010, the port of Ust-Luga handled 11.8 million tons of cargo and 65,521 imported vehicles. The port is expected to reach by 2018 its full capacity, handling 180 million tons of cargo a year.
