Ukraine lawmakers cancel VAT in port charges

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine abolished the value added tax (VAT) in the calculation of port charges and fees effective August 6, 2011, SE Odessa Commercial Sea Port said. The VAT rate in Ukraine was 20%.
