Sea Port St. Petersburg reports first-quarter profit of RUB 133.23m
Net income of Sea Port St. Petersburg in the first quarter of 2012 totaled RUB 133,231,000 versus loss of RUB 54,049,000 a year earlier, the stevedore company statement said.
Revenues soared as much as 3.4 times to 948,193,000 rubles.
JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg (part of UCL Port, a stevedoring division of UCLH) is the largest operator, providing services for handling all types of dry cargo in Big Port St. Petersburg. The company owns modern specialized terminals for handling Ro-Ro cargo, imported vehicles and metals. In 2011, the company handled 7.4 million tons of cargo.
