Now Kathimerini reports that part of the shake up will include the sale of the shipyard. The newspaper says the news has not taken the Greek government by surprise.
It says Thyssen Krupp has set the end of September as a deadline for yardÕs sale, otherwise it will close it down.
Kathimerini says the Greek government is looking at an overall national shipbuilding plan that would create a single shipbuilding and repair body that would include the state, the Neorion group--and ThyssenKrupp, at least for the period that it has outstanding obligations toward the Greek state.
