Throughput of Murmansk Fishing Port up 2-fold to 71,400 t in the first quarter of 2009
In the first quarter of 2009, Murmansk Fishing Port OJSC handled 71,400 tonnes of cargo (up 2-fold, year-on-year).
“In January-March, the company handled 71,400 tonnes of fish (200% against the same period of the previous year) including 38,000 tonnes handled in March,” Anton Artemjev, assistant to MFP Director General, told journalists according to Fishretail.
According to Artemjev, “it is a record breaking result for the last 5 years”. He reminded that in March 2008, the company handled 15,000 tonnes of fish.
