PRISCO cargo traffic down 6.5% to 2.25 mln t in QI'13
The volume of cargo transported by Primorsk Shipping Corporation (PRISCO) totaled 2.25 mln t in January-March 2013 (-6.5%, year-on-year), PRISCO press center informs.
The range of cargoes transported by PRISCO consists mainly of oil but in the accounting period its share fell from 55% to 41%.
At the same time the volume of light oil products considerably increased – 2.7 times to make 38% of the total volume.
Dark oil products are still one of major cargoes despite the decrease against the level of the previous year. In the first quarter of 2013, PRISCO transported 924,000 tonnes of crude oil.
