New PRISCO tanker was launched on Hyundai Heavy Industries Offshore, Ulsan, South Korea, the company reports.
The procedure was different. The vessel was moved from site to barge. Than the barge was took out to the sea, where the tanker was launched. After that the vessel was moored on the berth for continuous construction. During the month the shipbuilders will outfit tanker with all necessary equipment and test all systems and mechanisms. Tanker “Zaliv Anadyr” will be delivered in the beginning of May. Mr. Denis Bondarenko, PRISCO engineer inspector in South Korea.
This is the fifth vessel from the series of six tankers with 104 thousand tons deadweight. Its length is 244 m. and width 42 m. Double hull of the vessel and ice reinforcement will allow her to provide safe transportation of naphtha.
