Houston bunker prices dip as prices soften in the U.S.

Bunker prices in Houston ended the day priced lower on Tuesday, according to Ship & Bunker data, with prices soft overall across North America today.

IFO380 at the port fell $2.50 to $580.50 per metric tonne (pmt), reversing yesterday's gain of the same amount. The product is priced $1.50 pmt higher than this time last week, but down $11.50 over the last month.

Houston's low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) followed yesterday's double-digit gain by falling $5.00 today to $638.50 pmt, making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $58.00 pmt.

MGO was also down $5.00 to $957.50 pmt, the first drop in price since last Tuesday.
