Shipyards of Khabarovsk territory may commence serial production of nanocomposite minesweepers
Shipyards of the Khabarovsk territory may commence serial construction of nanocomposite minesweepers. According to the press center of the territorial government, Khabarovsk and Amur shipyards are underloaded and their development prospects as well as general development of the Far East Center of shipbuilding and ship repair of the United Shipbuilding Corporation should be associated with the implementation of serial orders.
“Implementation of single orders takes off too much resources of the powerful manufacture. It is finally affects the product's prime cost. The focus on serial production will ensure the required load and reduce production costs. Together with the DefenSe Ministry of Russia we consider the manufacture of nanocomposite minesweepers at our shipyards. This order will ensure long-term load of our shipyards”, the press center cites Viktor Popov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Transport.
