Forth phase of Rosneftbunker terminal (Ust-Luga) to be launched in QIV’14 – QI’15
The forth phase of Rosneftbunker terminal (port Ust-Luga, Leningrad region) is to be launched in the forth quarter of 2014 – first quarter of 2015, IAA PortNews learnt from the terminal’s press center.
As of October 8, the construction of tank farms for light and high-viscosity oil products nears the completion: industrial pipelines have been assembled and are undergoing hydraulic tests now; interconnecting industrial pipelines for high-viscosity oil products and other equipment is being installed; construction of cable racks and laying of cable runs is in process.
Area development has commenced as well.
Tank car unloading rack for discharge of high-viscosity products is in the initial phase of construction: assembling of metal structures and industrial pipelines is to begin in the first quarter of the next year.
The forth phase platforms the terminal comprises the construction of a tank farm for 90,000 cbm of light oil products and 200,000 cbm of heavy fuel oil, double-service rack, discharge of high-viscosity products, industry pipeline system etc.
Rosneftbunker OJSC is the owner and operator of oil product terminal in the port of Ust-Luga. It is the largest oil product terminal in Russia. The terminal’s design capacity is 30 mln t per year (20 mln t of dark oil products and 10 mln t of light oil products). The tank farm’s capacity is 1 mln cubic meters. The three berths stretch for 1 km. Four tank car unloading racks can handle over 500 tank cars at a time.
